Act 1
The scene begins with a mom and her son sitting together in a park. The son is reading a book, while his mom listens to her son reading.
Act 2
After some time reading the book, the mom tells her son it’s time to go play with the kids in the playground that’s across from where they are sitting.
Act 3
However, the little boy is shy. Although he loves to play in the playground, he’s shy when he tries to play with others. Meanwhile, two kids are seen in the background, walking toward the mother and son.
Act 4
The two kids, a brother and his sister, arrives and asks the boy if he would like to join with them to play in the park. As the boy decides, his mom finds this a good opportunity for her son to play with the two kids.
Act 5
The boy finally agrees and joins along with the two kids. The two kids are happy to see they have someone else to play with in the park. The mom stays behind, and watches as her son goes off to play with the kids in the playground.
Act 6
What felt like hours of playing in the park, the mom tells her son they are leaving. Upset the fun is over, the boy tells his new friends he must go. Before the boy meets her mom by the bench, he waves goodbye to his friends. The kids wave back, and the older kid says, “Let’s play again, tomorrow!” The joyful boy hopes he could come back again tomorrow to continue playing with his new friends.
